Our team is made up of dedicated professionals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of those we serve. We work together to provide comprehensive support to our clients. The program is characterized by regular engagement, support, & training. The program is for 18 months and includes housing and access to the training resources.
Our goal for spiritual restoration is to teach discipline as it pertains to the spirit of the woman. We will address broken areas and rebuild starting with her foundation. We expect wholeness and freedom and the releasing of any restraints that would subject them to bondage. These bondages often cause restrictions in their ability to grow beyond what they were taught due to their circumstances. This part of the program will be a continual process that will transcend their time here at Naomi’s Grace.
The aim of the relational restoration arm of the program is to break unhealthy behavior and relationship cycles and develop coping skills for dealing with addiction and mental health and relational issues. Healthy social relationships are an integral part of a stable support system. They will have access to group and individual therapy, counselling, and provisional housing program also, be connected to external resources at another facility with mental health professionals and services.
We understand that money management is rarely taught and especially to those whose norm is financial difficulties. We offer these women access to financial literacy resources, so they can learn essential life skills. We partner with experts to provide programs such as planning and budgeting workshops, with strategies on building credit and reducing debt. They will also participate in a Entrepreneurship workshop where they will be encouraged to think outside the box. Each person will be assigned accountability partners for the duration of the program and are encouraged to apply what they have learned.
Good physical health is invaluable to emotional and mental wellness. Our treatment and transitional housing program provide nutritionally balanced meals and helps clients build healthy eating habits with the guidance of a dietitian. We will incorporate life skills such as good hygiene practices, cooking, and household management. We will schedule and complete well woman exams yearly.
We will also focus also on how our clients approach life and crisis mentally. Counseling sessions will be mandatory weekly for the first 90 days to establish healthy boundaries, goals, and coping strategies. After 90 days, counselors will be available by appointment to all who feel they need additional mental support.
Pursuing one’s career or God given purpose is more than simply having a job. A career is rewarding and contributes enormously to the fostering of high self-esteem, self-worth, security and stability. We provide vocational assessment and training and provide resume building and job search and entrepreneurship workshops before graduating. The candidates in this program will have the opportunity to attend career fairs and career talks and conferences as well as exploring their God given gifts and talents to and see how these gifts aligns well with the purpose for their lives.
